Any Dynos with the AWD R yet?

Default Any Dynos with the AWD R yet?

I'd love to see the real numbers and power curve for the F-Type. I'm considering getting a dyno done after the break in period.

My concern is with the new AWD system... surely I'd need an AWD dyno... BUT, the car is pretty much RWD unless it slips, then transfers power to the front.

How would this work on or affect a dyno pull?

Anyone have any experience or knowledge in this area?

I have a feeling that dyno'ing the AWD will be a royal pain in the butt with this car With the speed differences between the front and rear axles it can throw a fault and limit overall output. my experience in the past has been pulling the fuse for traction control and abs out but on a car as electronically complex as the F Type...it'll probably throw other faults as well.

You will need an AWD dyno.

Never even considered the speed difference between front and rear wheels...

This might be interesting. (or not...)

I don't see the problem. So many AWD cars are dyno'd without issue. Decent AWD dynos have the front & rear rollers linked so the wheel speed is the same front & rear, regardless of torque split, torque vectoring, etc...

Since there is no power to the fronts, if the dyno is linked, I wonder what the results on the final numbers would be.

I can see a full time symmetrical AWD system, but I' curious to know if the "mostly RWD, sometimes AWD" system is going to confuse the dyno, or the car...

Mine is still in pieces. O hp 0 torque

This is killing me they can't get abs fault to go away and are waiting for jag engineers

Hope they get it fixed quickly.

On a more humorous note, the HP and TQ curve on your car are perfectly flat!

On a non-linked dyno, as soon as the vehicle sees the rear tires moving and the fronts not, it would transfer power to the front wheels, so there would be no speed difference. Dyno's are dumb, and you must simply correct for the measured numbers to get a reading. Same thing that they have to do when dynoing electric cars and such.
