I had a slightly different problem when filling with Momentum 99 at Tesco (UK.) It filled ok but the pump nozzle jammed in the filler neck. I twisted, pushed, and pulled but it wouldn't release. Stood back and gave it some thought. (Fortunately, it was late at night at a pay only pump. The kiosk was shut.) I gave it a very firm pull and twist and it finally released. I noted that the anti-surge flap at the base of the filler neck is now bent and doesn't close flush. Just a warning for Tesco UK users.
Took my 2016 in to the dealer for repairs today. The service rep. was very familiar with the problem. He said the issue is the filler neck is too narrow so the gas backs up, triggering the automatic cut off at the nozzle. It will be at the dealer for 2 days. He said it's a lot of work to fix. I was hoping to get a Jaguar (fat chance) loaner or maybe a Land Rover but nope, I was carted over to Enterprise Car Rentals nearby where I had a choice between a Dodge or Hyundai SUV. Damn.
Never had a single problem across a wide variety of pumps and no hint of the TSB or JTB ever being done on my car according to tOPIX.
Maybe Oz pumps are just better behaved????
Happens every time. TSB doesn’t do ****. Very stupid problem to have.
That is not my experience. The updated parts cured the problem for me.

Here in California, we have what are probably the most finicky vapor recovery nozzles. Perhaps that's it.
Jaguar San Diego called me today with an update. I dropped the car off Wednesday morning and as of close of business today, Thursday, they hadn't touched it yet - still working on cars brought in on Tuesday. So it looks like one or two more days. Always backed up.
I've had this problem three or four times with my 2018, but there is NO WAY I'll allow the local dealer's service department to attempt a fix after the way they abused my vehicle when I had it in for the first year service. Just yesterday it took probably a dozen attempts to fill the tank because the pump kept shutting off, but I'll live with the problem rather than subject my car and my mental state to the alternative.

The trick is to position the the pump in a way to allow an air gap between the filler neck and the vapor recovery shroud. Prior to the fix, this is what I would do and I was able to fill up without interruption but you have to hold the nozzle in position.

We ain't got none of them thar vapor recovery shrouds here in the third world, unless you're talking about closing off the crescent in the door of the outhouse, but that can take the breath away for a spell.
