The 3M remover does indeed work well too (citric extract).

Yes, and I like it better because it is more of a gel and easier to keep from spillilng all over everything.

When I debadged the "JAGUAR" I used dental floss and no special cleaner. The residue was fairly minimal and I just used a cloth to clean it. Maybe mine adhesive was just not that sticky to need the special cleaners...

In this video from another thread, it looked like the tech was able to pull off the "Jaguar" with nothing more than duct tape. Love the stuff, but Gorilla Tape is better. Maybe that's what he used.

I would be more careful about just pulling things off....probably very low risk of damaging the paint, but it's so easy to just use dental floss/fish line to cut through the adhesive. Took me about 5 minutes.

I would stick with the old school way as well.

Hell, I'm going with an even older-school method of leaving the damned emblems on the car.

anybody removed just the FType in the back? I want to keep the leaper and the Jaguar on the spoiler, but I think it would look better without the FType lettering in the back.
Anyone here done that?

Some of those cars carry enough badges that removal is a weight-saving measure.

I want to replace all the red jag emblem badges with the black so will buy them as spare parts - wheels are an easy swap but front grille will need bumper removal I think

The red just doesn't flow with a grey car and yellow calipers

Initially I was on the fence about debadging. ...I ended up going through with it and debadged the "F-Type" and "S" from the back and am pretty happy with how clean it looks.

Cool. Thanks! Anybody know how hard it is to put one of these badges back on after being removed?

You don't put the old ones back on once removed because you're destroyed the adhesive backing. You'd have to purchase new ones, and then figure out exactly where they should be mounted and how get level relative to the car.

You can probably buy some car adhesive (don't use super glue!) if you don't want to buy new badges.

I switched to red, personal taste. The grill growler just pops off but destroys itself in the act. Never tried the S.

Ive taken all the badges off and then replaced them with oem badges painted black with plasticoat.
Before i took them off i put masking tape around them so i knew where to put the new ones when i'd cleaned all the glue residue off.
