Anyone running 21" wheels on their F-Type?

No, not necessarily. I'm just not convinced that one inch in rim diameter, 1/2" effective tire sidewall shortness, will be the difference between happiness and pain. Hitting the same pothole that would take out a 21" would probably do similar damage to the 20".
What I do know is that replacing a factory rim will cost me $1500, replacing a Niche will cost me $300 so from a practicality standpoint, aftermarket makes sense if my concern was economy.
Tire price for 21" have come down to a few bucks of a 20" which wasn't the case a few years ago when 21" were considered exotic.
From an aesthetic standpoint, an F-Type, with a staggered 21" set-up makes the car looks like an exotic. The car will now begin to creep to Aston Martin status as an example. If you want to have wheels that look proper, that belong on a supercar...A 21" wheel will make that difference.

The sidewall size alone tells us little, we need to know the tyre width to know how much it's 25% or 30% of in order to gauge the difference.

Well obviously 5% of 305mm makes a difference, no-one is disputing that.

Actually what you were saying was that your wife's sidewall was 25 and yours was 30, and that it made a difference, without stating the tyre widths involved, so inadequate information for anyone to base any opinion on. We're all capable of working out percentages, given all the necessary dimensions.
