Default Dunlop racing wheels

Sorry if this has been addressed in an after market rims thread, but I've searched and not discovered anything. Has anyone here seen classic XKSS style dulop racing wheels on an F-type? I think they would look good and give the car another nod to the E-Type.

I don't know that I'm ready to get new wheels but I'd give serious thought if these were available in my R.

Mmmm...I think that would look pretty tacky on an F-type, especially with a fake knock-off spinner.

What you need is for Chip Foose to do a modern interpretation of the Dunlop racing wheels.

After seeing what he did with this XKE I wouldn't want to have anything to do with him. It starts with an ugly color and goes downhill from there.

Agreed. He seems to lack an aesthetic sense for automobiles. The 21" rims (or whatever they are) on that E-Type just don't work.

Would have been much better with spinners and hydraulics.

Chip Foose is an artist. I've seen a lot of his builds on Overhaulin. Some I like and some not so much but every car he builds is a work of art. Not everyone likes all art.

If everyone were the same, everyone would have a little beige Prius. Thankfully,we're all different. It becomes very clear when you take your F-Type for a drive. You certainly stand out in an ocean of transportation appliances.

I have to agree; I am no more a Jaguar purist than I am an american muscle car lover, but I have seen a lot of cars that I think are amazing when customized. That Jag is not my favorite but Foose has built some of the most amazing machines I have ever seen.

I don't know. I think it looks to me like what would have happened if Ferrari and Jaguar collaborated on the E-Type.
