Ok...here's the official answer on the "Test Mode": This setting is utilized by the shop mechanic to adjust the sensitivity so they can test and adjust the functionality of the AHB feature in the shop, rather than having to go out on the highway at night to test and calibrate. I know...that answer is too obvious.
