Black Foam Behind Front Bumper
The other day I was wiping the bumper, and I noticed the black foam was very visible. I went to feel the foam, and it was loose. Is this supposed to be the case? Never noticed this in another car before -- should I have it checked out?
Also, what's the difference between the red border, and the black border for the Jaguar logo?

I had an opportunity to see my first F-type disassembled. The foam pads behind the bumper cover were glued to the aluminum frame and could not move. If yours are visible and loose I would guess the glue may have let go. If so it is a warranty issue.
Pictures would help.

It could also be an indication that someone hit you while parked, looked, saw no visible damage, and drove off. That exact scenario happened to me. While washing my car last weekend I noticed a few small scratches on the bumper. When I looked more closely, the plastic panels beneath the nose of the car were hanging down slightly. With a little more inspection, it became clear they were broken. The insurance appraiser said that it's very common with this car. He's already seen 2 others besides mine that had minor visible damage, but a lot of internal damage. Total bill so far for my repair is $2500, as they are replacing the entire nose to be sure there's no damage underneath. There's not a lot of aluminum up there, so any hit is going to break a lot of plastic parts.
After living with this car as a nearly daily-driver for a year, examining closely the front nose and tail structure, and hearing of several of these minor incidents resulting extensive damage; I avoid parallel parking at all costs.
As will I from now on. $500 (deductible) lesson learned...
