Black Wheel Cleaner?

Ah just found this thread, if anyone has anything to add tho I'd really like a concentrate that you dilute rather than buying bottles of Sonax

I just use Eco Touch waterless car wash. I buy concentrate and dilute. Works well and don't' have to worry about chemicals damaging wheel finish. You can get it on Amazon. Been using for past several years on all my cars. I haven't 'water washed' my car in months. I follow up with Maguire's Detailing spray.

Consider coating wheels with something like opti-gloss to reduce brake dust baking on surface (my detailed suggested this and does seem to help). I used sonax and like it, am now using griot's heavy duty wheel cleaner - which doesn't smell, and sprays on sudsy. Either need to be rinsed off after a few minutes and then washed like regular paint. I also follow up with griot's best of show detailer using their blue pfm microfibre towel over whole car. Looks like new every time.

easier to fully coat as it is not as thick and can be sprayed instead of sloshed... sonax is thicker and I used to use more trying to fully coat. griots cant be left on as long or it dries streaky. Both need a high pressure wash to be touch less- I use garden hose (highest pressure stream) followed by detailer spray with PFM cloth. at the moment I prefer griots but both work well
