Default Cat Has New Ears (?) - HD Photos CF Mirror Covers

Wheels = Paws
Headlights = Eyes
Exhaust = Tail
Side Mirror Covers = Ears ???

After MI-FType said how easy it was to install the carbon fiber mirror covers I called around and luck would have it one of the local dealers had them in stock. So I went to pick them up and now the cat has some new ear covers. Hope they're useful to prospective buyers. I know a few on the forum have the carbon fiber mirror covers but don't think anyone has posted high resolution photos.

I think on light colored cars (white, orange, etc.) they look pretty good. Probably would get lost on the darker colored cars. While at it took some photos at the Presidio.

Shift... they look great on the White! Hopefully you found the install as easy as I did. You are going to be hooked now and want to go back for the hood and side vents.

The carbon fiber bits are like a tattoo. Once you get one; you want more.

LOL I have about 5 tattoos from my younger days
Couldn't have done it without you! Like you said in the other thread, instructions are easy, except they don't include how to remove the mirror!!! I trusted you and just pulled them off with a lot of force. Really thought they might break/snap but they came off no problem.
We'll see about the louvres/vents...maybe in a few months.

I think you need to take some pictures with the car paked in the sun - the weave is pretty much invisible with it in the shade.

Looking good otherwise.

I'll try to get some better photos tomorrow. Yesterday was ridiculously windy day in Bay Area so I cut the "photo shoot" short to get back inside.

Where did you get the number & jaguar decals on the car? are they removable? i've got my R coming in an month and like to do a lot of track days, so i'd like to put on numbers, but then take them off (reuse them) for daily driving.

looks like you are in norcal/sf, yeah? i'm in marin.

I had them made through https://www.carstickers.com/
pretty easy w/ some paint/drawing programs. The jaguar heritage decal I just googled for the image. Both decals are static cling so yes they are reusable.

Hope to see you around at the next bay area meetup/drive. we had 10 f-types at our first inaugural drive.

This CF is addictive, I have done ears, vents and the scoops, plus the interior of the car. Darn expensive hobby.

Still have to get my pics taken and posted as promised... with the holiday and 15 degree temps it's been difficult.

Yes, two small checkered flag racing stripes. It's an off white and grayish black checkered flag pattern so it doesn't really stand out. Was at the C&C yeserday and a guy had a drone so this is what it looks like from above:

I love the cf look. You might look in to some cf front splitters under the bumper. And maybe a small cf lip spoiler on the rear deck. The mirrors look good.

You have a part number or link? Only Jaguar CF pieces I see are the mirror covers, the louvres and the side vents. I have not seen the CF front bumper splitter except on the Project 7.
