CCB brakes overheating dash message - on track
Brake temperature paint is available, permanently changing colors at user selected temperatures. I think stickers are available as well. Put either on the back of a caliper and find out what's going on for sure.
I edited out the stickers and paint idea as did not want it to cause any issues if it came off.....RBF600 is goos stuff dry...the wet part of things is what I care about as I wanted a fluid that was really good if not changed out every darn weekend.....
Sorry for the typos...had not intended for that to live on in eternity. Oh well.
You are about as safe as can be with the SRF...
DRY BP :: WET BP
RBF 585F (found a 594F too ) :: 401F
SRF 608F :: 514F
Please keep us posted. SRF is just a little pricey to use every weekend...but I just love the stuff.

Just a quick update on this. I did order a pair of the ducts I referred to earlier and they are NOT a fit on the 2020 SVR. Of course finding this out after buying them and finding specific posts on this...
The ducts that fit are described in this post: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...3/#post1610863
And on cars that don't: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...6/#post1641142
The sway bar to link attachment is different and so is the shape of the sway bar. So the point being these will not fit on SVR cars (I would bet all of them) but will fit on early R cars (possibly RWD).
I now have an unused set of these so if anyone can use them, please PM me - be happy to sell these now...
Part numbers are T2R10498 and T2R10497.

Slightly unrelated question but interested in your experience with the CCM brakes. I have them on my 2017 SVR. I was on the freeway a few evenings ago in weekend traffic - going from 60 down to 10-15mph as the traffic started and stopped. CCM are incredibly smooth.
But it felt like the car was quite slow to stop - ie braking power wasn't great. Or maybe it was so smooth I didn't get that sudden 'on' of traditional brakes
What's your read driving it? Do they bite less hard / stop more slowly than traditional brakes? Do you have to push the pedal harder?

I was somewhat worried about buying this car with carbons. From some reviews the complains were actually that the initial bite is too hard. My experience has been much more similar to yours, however. That is, the brake feel is much more linear and doesn't really have that initial bite at all. My dedicated track day car has no power assist on brakes and it has a very similar feel, which I prefer. If you want a lot of braking, you ought to have to press pretty hard.
My single biggest complaint about the carbons is the lack of available pad choices. That is, I'm only aware of the jag oem pads for them. This is most likely why i'll switch them off to something like the pb brakes 8 piston caliper steel brake setup. Tons of pad choices from easy street-able to full race.
TLDR: i agree with your experience, but i prefer it this way. brakes are quite linear - if you press more, you will get more.

Surprisingly under the Economy listings.
Rock Auto appear have Dynamic Friction brake pads for the CCM brakes at a very reasonable price, see here: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...brake+pad,1684

Maybe because the Jag price is completely over the top?
The company and their brake pads seem legit and the Rock Auto listings appear to be for the DFC 3000 semi-metallic pads see here: https://www.dynamicfriction.com/prod...ds-semimetalic
