I'm heading back into this thread to say that I was probably mistaken. I've just put about 4,000 miles on my car after a three and a half week road trip, and the mapping function pales to Google Maps which consequently pales two Waze. Our gps isnt just outdated and bad, it is dangerously wrong.

But even going from satellite radio to my music to environmental controls is absurdly laggy and, therefore, more dangerous than I gave it credit for. Really dangerously bad.

I just love driving it. The rest of all of that is just superfluous. I know, for $70-130k...

So how was the rest of the trip?. Last we saw in episode 2 was the car with snow on it.

Dammit lost a reply. Grr

I have a full three week road trip report starting. How the cup holders with straws can cut you while you're shifting to go from 5th to 6th while passing on one lane highways, some pretty epic picture post shots, Resorts tailored to People Like Us (Amangani, Amangiri), phenomenal GoPro video and time-lapse camera shots of our drives. If you search on YouTube for beautiful drives of the world plus my handle, you'll find some pretty neat stuff.

That will wait tho. Ending trip by the pool, post Antelope Canyon tour. Pics are random.... didnt want to post best car pics in here, so here are a few of us having fun.

NB: Jackson Hole Amangani Resort detailed my car daily. Sorrel River Ranch helped provide me with stuff to wash my car. A fine resort should obviously do so, but that was really nice.

I've seen this done on FX's where they take the display that came with the car and remote it to the glove box and put the new stereo where the old screen was. But I think the result would be a nightmare in our cars. Some of the higher end boxes allow a link to the CAN bus but I've never seen a Jaguar interface and sure wouldn't want to break the car finding out this can't be worked. Eventually someone will figure a work around but I haven't seen one yet.

Your pictures are awesome, and looks like a ton of fun! BTW, the color combo on the F-Type is absolutely awesome. Good Luck
