It's a relatively rare and great color that was only available in the 14MY, which were all convertibles. It's called "Satellite Grey Metallic." It looks very blue in the sun and more grey in dimmer light.

Thanks.
Yeah, it looks really nice, although I've only ever seen it in pics.

Excellent - (probably should be a standard feature to match the side vents...)

We moved into our newly-built house a little over a year ago, and that's the attached garage on the house. The mess is in the barn/bus garage.

I put a set of chrome bonnet vents on yesterday and am quite pleased with the outcome. The F is silver and they blend in very smoothly. I thought the plastic mesh was a little inexpensive looking and the British affinity for chrome is well known. I saw a black pack set last week and thought they were also an improvement.

However on a silver/grey/blue car this blends in rather well and is not standing out.

That is a fantastic color combination!

P.S. When I pulled the chrome bonnet vents out of the trunk (rear glove compartment) after 6 months, I found a receipt for 2 @ $234 USD apiece. Of course they are made by an Italian carrozzeria and so I expect worth every penny. The lambswool mats for the XK8 were $200 apiece back in 2001 and so I have no grounds to complain.

Next, I am thinking about the chrome roll over loops. I expect they are relatively close in appearance to the OEM loops and so I am not sure about doing them next. Anyone have any thoughts on that.
