Good day. Yes, the drain holes are clear; but I'm in search of someone who's had experience with the top disassembled, or someone who knows how the top is made and installed. TIA!!!
Thank you, the first picture helps me explain it better. I am familiar with the trough, but not knowing Jaguars intentions, I’m not sure what is failed. When water hits the red circled area, it leaks into the trunk, also circled in red. I’m not sure if Jaguar intended the trough to divert the water, or the gasket at the top of the body to keep it from hitting the trough in the first place. Thanks.
If I suspected the rear seal area to be leaking, I would coat the seal with some non-petroleum grease as a first step. That would prevent (or at least reduce) water from getting past it. Petroleum greases might deteriorate the rubber.
The seal on our '14 'Vert looks more robust than yours, though.
I would also pack some grease into the potential gap in the sealant of the last picture.
You don't park your F with the top down for long periods, do you? Its possible that this type of issue is why the Owners Manual cautions against leaving the top down when unused for long periods. (LOL, All this time, I thought it was to guard against wrinkles.)

If the leak is in the trunk you need to expose everything in the trunk by taking out all the liners and pour some water in the trough while taking some video in the trunk with plenty of light. Also video while opening the top a few stops at a time with the ignition on until fully open and tucked. Check the floor by the battery for any dampness or corrosion. It may just be a small leak that can be sealed with some silicone caulk.
Opening the top visibly increases the drainage volume which is interesting. The trough sends the water forward toward the drain so I would check your drains on the right as well even though they look clear - there are 2 exit points: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...7/#post2859877
Please report back, we are here to learn (and hopefully help).
