What year models had the plastic coolant pipes with the weak seams that occasionally failed due to heat? I'm thinking that Jaguar fixed the problem for 2015 models forward but I'm not sure.

Mine is Oct 2014 build but MY 2015 and it has the seamed pipes so those pipes were upgraded some time after that build date.

 

My MY17 F-Pace S had it (and failed).

 

I have a 2016 so it looks like I may be hosed. Sorry about the F-Pace

 

Per forum rumors 2017 is around when the f type had the y pipe redesigned.

It’s worth replacing, when you get the chance, and while you have the sc out might as well replace the sc coupler and sc oil. This DIY is excellent.

My 18 F-Pace had it as well, fixed under warranty. 18 F-Type hasn't had it so far.
