Default Dealer ecu/tcu updates that are good out there?

Hi,

TIme marches on (of note, I did a search in the forum and did not find anything on this question....so I tried... ) and with new cars and years the ads say "new improved" x, y, z.

For example, the 'shifting" is faster in the new R.

Can we get that added to our older car? Seems like it would not hurt anything..... Or is there anything that updates power/etc.

Just curious. I don't want to lose my F-type exhaust noise, but if the factory engineers had things that made the car "better" I'd at least want to know about them and get them added (especially if at no added cost).

TIA

jb

Dealer flash that is better, faster, not as fast as VAP but perhaps "free" would be a nice middle option. I like the idea of free and perhaps not upsetting to a warranty...
