Default Dynamic lighting doesn't match everywhere?

When I place my SVR into dynamic mode, the leds change to red, but only the ones under the door pulls and the one for the passenger grab handle. The dash display turns red, but the door pulls and all the other lighting in the car remains blue. Same thing happens if I change it to another color in the menu system when I'm not in dynamic mode.

I'm being led to believe this is a case of "they all do that, sir."

In my opinion, it looks terrible and is a horrible oversight by Jaguar if true. The fact that the footwell lights are yet another color just adds to the mix (pun intended). Is everyone's F-Type like this? It's not something that will make me sell the car immediately, but it will probably cause my enjoyment of the car to decrease faster than it otherwise would.

Yep my 2014 V8S does the same and I agree its awful. Bothers me less now than it did 4 years ago when I bought the car, but still irritates me.

Reading other posts on this forum I thought they rectified it in later years and now the door pulls etc all match? What year is your car?

The footwell light globes which stock are a horrible sickly yellow are fairly easy to swap out for other colours, they are simple 5W5 T10 wedge globes. Plenty of colours to choose from, I went for bright white but many prefer Ice Blue as it is the closest you will get to the stock "Phosphor Blue" interior lighting scheme. Over the years I have found Chip On Board (COB) to be the best but you can also use Cree or multi-chip SMD LED. Literally hundreds of them on Fleabay for very few $.

Add puddle lights and you can get another color shade hahaha. Then LEDs under dash. I gave up. Lighting wise mine is a ***** house. I still like it though.

Anyone change the map lights or whatever overhead by the mirror? Mine casts a horrid pale LED color - anyone know what the replacement bulb options are for that one?

Not sure it can be done without huge expense.
One of the first things I did when I got the car was to attempt to change out the three overhead / map light globes.
The console came out of the roof easy enough (just like my two XFs), but there was absolutely zero access to the globes from the rear of the console (unlike the XFs), it's just a solid board across the back with no way I could see of removing or opening it.
So I tried to remove the plastic covers on the front, but I could not budge any of them although it looks like they have small indentations for levering them open. I gave up poking, prying and levering for fear of breaking something, but that said there may just be a "knack" to opening those covers.
But even if you could open the front covers I have a feeling the globes are integrated LEDs and not replaceable.
Like more and more auto parts these days you can't just change one part of them, you are stuck with replacing the whole thing.

It's a 2017, Evidently, it's not fixed. It's a ridiculous oversight. The luxury and exotic cars I've owned in the past wouldn't have missed a design element like this. Oh well, this was never meant to be a long term love affair.
