Hey folks.

Just finished an install of the 9500ci by a buddy Scott. We installed the ci, plus the wired Escort Live SmartCord.

When I turn on the system, The SmartCord connects to my iPhone via BlueTooth, and the app works, but, the Bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of my phone (in the Escort Live app) is amber. The message I get says that the Detector is not communicating with the SmartCord.

Anyone have this situation happen? Any suggestions? I deleted the app, rebooted, all software up to date.

Don't have the unit, but have you paired the unit to the phone so it can communicate to one another? Also, can ask on radarforums.com they are the best to answer specific questions related to counter measures. Sorry couldn't help resolve.
