So, adding the following mod to the list. Ordering the parts now.

Quarter Edge Trim Part # C2P5094
Quarter Edge Trim Part # C2P5095

Seems like a simple mod to perform:

Don't forget to order the corresponding clips:

C2P5091 - Trim Clips

That is just a dummy button that fits into the 12 volt power outlet on the dash.

I’ve been considering these as well, despite having full body PPF installed. My paint on the hips is protected regardless obviously, but despite this, the fact of the matter is the PPF is the car’s skin. If that skin starts to look bad then the car will start to look bad…To state the obvious…

I can tell ya though, if you don’t have PPF back there like I do you should ideally get those things installed as soon as you can. You just need to look at my PPF in the hip area to know there’s lots of rock activity there for sure…It’s inevitable…

Right now the knocks in my PPF in that area is barely noticeable, and I’d like to keep it that way. I suppose these guards should help with that goal.

I’m a bit confused. When I looked at this in the past these were on some website in the UK and it said they came with the clips?

Also, are these clips gonna be black? I looked through that other thread and some seem to be using non-black clips that really stand out. I find that doesn’t look the best.

I suppose worst case one could paint them themselves, but it would be good if they came black.

EDIT

This was the site:

https://adamesh.co.uk/products/jagua...Kh_TpdrDQKak4r

On the assumption this is the same product, it says there in the description it comes with 8 clips. But perhaps they are referring to these tabs that us F-typers need to knife off? Not sure.

I agree. All protective measures have to be done now, before I start driving it.

I will look at what you did. Thank you.

EDIT: You did full body PPF! Oh, I was not planning on doing that.

Video mentions that his order came with the clips. I will just wait for these to arrive to confirm.

Yes, I did notice that. Hamster's wheel is turning… I could get the black ones and laser etch something else….

I made this attempt on my car. The parts did not come with clips. Sadly, my impatience caused me to ruin the one of the pieces. The install just wasn't clear to me.

I'm sure I overlooked something and was rushing.

If they are not included in what I ordered, I have a box of assorted clips. If none of those work, then I will order the correct ones. Thank you for sharing the part number.

Mystery solved. That listing on adamesh is for a 2 piece kit, which may come with clips. I ordered individual trim pieces. Not a kit. I got mine here:

Yeah, front to back. The group that did mine were rockstars. Art. Not an edge in sight, fully wrapped everywhere, etc... You basically wouldn’t know it’s on the car. I’m quite happy I went ahead with it. 15 year guarantee.

I was petrified because I had another outfit cut into the paint of a brand new 4Runner when installing. It was a disaster.

This time I did a ton of research and found the right place for sure. Only 30% in that industry know what they’re doing apparently. Kinda scary.

Can you a link to where you ordered from?

Holy crap, your link is way cheaper. Is that a legit real jaguar part?

Do you think one could get away with installing these things just using clips, perhaps if using 1 or 2 extra per side?

If I could avoid the tape I would, as I’d like to avoid potentially compromising the edge of my PPF in the wheel well sorta thing.

Thoughts?

Genuine OEM part. However you will need to pay for shipping from the UK which can be costly depending on the part, and can take a while to arrive. Also that listing I posted was only for the trim piece for one side.
