Default F-Type S steering wheel insert?

I've searched the interwebz and this forum and no such thing seems to exist.
My steering wheel looks like this: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...75641590417409
And the R steering wheel looks like this: https://cdn-carwitter.netdna-ssl.com...-carwitter.jpg
(yes, I know, standard steering wheel vs sports/flat bottomed steering wheel, but I am talking only about the insert in the 6 o'clock position).
Does anyone know if an S insert even exists?
And if so, where can I get one from and how hard/easy is it to fit?

Im sure you know this, but you would need the plastic piece and the S insert. The best way to tell if such exists is to look at other S model cars and see if they have on their interiors. I personally have not seen

off topic: that R steering wheel is gorgeous, i wonder if i can fit it on my XFR

Yep, I knew I would need the whole piece, and despite hours of searching on the Web I have never seen one, either on a car or by itself, which is why I don't think one exists. Surely I can't be the only S owner who would like this insert, a marketing opportunity if ever there was one I reckon!

So, judging by the pic file name, it's from an XE, presumably an XE-S.
Question is, will that insert fit the F-Type steering wheel?
If it does I want one bad!!!
But can they be bought, how much, and how hard/easy is it to fit one?

The steering wheel inserts (spoke finishers) for the XE S and R-Sport models are:

T4N5770 - Sports steering wheel insert - £31
T4N5769 - R Sport steering wheel insert - £31

That is listed as the entire insert, which may be the black and grey part or just the black part with the inner badge. I don't know if it is a S or an R-S shown above.

I am not familiar enough with the XE to know if the parts are interchangable. The steering wheels do share many components with other JLR models including the F-Type (like the switch packs and air bags), but the wheel part numbers are specific XE parts starting T4N (T2R is the F-Type). It looks to be a different shape from the photos in this thread, but you may be able to remove the S badge part and stick it to your finisher? Or it may not be removable and not fit at all.

T2R1032 - Coupe, Gunmetal, lower, R version, is an example of the F-Type R finisher for a round steering wheel. That should fit, and you may be able to overlay the insert with a different graphic. Any decent vinyl decal shop would be able to print and laser cut an overlay to fit the exact shape of the R insert and put your own design on it. As the R insert has a hard recessed edge it shouldn't look out of place at all, and you could always mask it off and seal with matt or gloss lacquer before installing to provide scratch protection.

Thanks xdave!
At least I now know the part number of the XE S insert (it's the top one, T4N5770).
Like you I think the shape of the F-Type and XE inserts are slightly different so the XE insert probably won't fit in an F-Type steering wheel. Maybe I can find a small S decal somewhere and just stick it on, or else try your suggestion of a modified R insert.
