F-Type SVR Discussion Thread
Probably a local listing first. You can also try Vroom or Carvana online and see what they offer. I got above trade in and slightly below retail for my Benz C300 a few years ago on Carvana. Not sure how mods affect their offers tho as my car was pretty much stock.
I’m a big fan of the F Type SVR sound and speed, but also a fan of the Project 7. What are your thoughts on an SVR with a project 7 body kit (decals:exterior features). Of course I’d keep the SVR badging however.
Bring a Trailer and Doug Demuro's "new" auction site, ie new, and newer model cars: https://carsandbids.com/
I'm going to say as they say on Keith Martin's Sports Car Market.... Hold this car.
The SVR just got discontinued.
At least wait til October when the new Bond film is out and people want badass cars as a post-pandemic treat. =)

After selling my F-Type R back in October, it took 6 months to finally locate an SVR with the color combination and options I desired. Purchased this 2017.5 vehicle from an upscale dealership in Florida a few days ago and drove her back home to Maine. Was meticulously maintained by it's previous owner and was part of his extensive car collection and only had 5400 miles when I picked it up. Thanks to Ron Mcintyre and his excellent staff at Scarborough Jaguar for welcoming me home and taking care of my State Inspection and downloading the Jaguar Remote App for me. Am so happy to no longer have to clean brake dust of my rims!

Thanks my fellow Mainer! Due to the wisdom and unselfish sharing of F-Type knowledge by yourself, unhingd, scm, lizzardo, Oz, Mbourne and Therock88 to name a few, I was encouraged to purchase my second Jaguar and I plan to hang on to this one for a long time!

^ Thanks and I appreciate the insight. The car received plenty of attention on the 1700 mile trip back to Maine and I did not see one F-Type of any version during the entire journey which does put all of us in a very select group!
Ftyperegistry, how where you able to determine my car was the last SVR built for the US in 2017 without the VIN? I can tell you that it was purchased at Jaguar Sudbury (Boston) and the original owner is just a drummer in a rock and roll band! Legendary band at that.

I was able to identity it because yours is the only 2017 Glacier White SVR Coupe with CCB and red interior in the US. I have the VINs of all the SVRs produced. Attached is a screenshot partially showing the last ~30 on the spreadsheet. Unique interior color combinations and features such as red interior and carbon ceramics are easy to identify because there are usually only a handful or one of each color palette.

You've got your classic Boston rock bands down! It was actually Joey Kramer of Aerosmith who's a huge "car guy" and the dealer didn't tell me until after I purchased the car which I thought was very professional. He shipped the SVR and a used McLaren to the dealer in Florida and had a new McLaren loaded for the return trip to his estate in Texas. He actually purchased the SVR primarily for his wife Linda and the vehicle was in showroom condition. I was the first potential buyer to inquire about the car and was informed that it was still in transit and was promised photos once it arrived. The Naples Motorsports staff was excellent throughout the entire process and the Jaguar was probably the least expensive car on their lot and in the showroom!

Your new toy is a beauty and it’s nice to know another Ftype will be helping to enliven the streets and highways of Maine.
