Default First Month With the F-Type

Exactly one month ago, I obtained my F-Type. Fist off, let me say I feel extremely fortunate to be able to afford this car. I have to say having owned many different cars, overall this has to be the BEST car I have ever had. The look, shape and lines are absolutely a work of art. The 770 watt stereo is amazing, the sound of the exhaust, even at moderate speed is awesome. I sometimes turn off the stereo just to hear that exhaust! JLR hit a home run with this model. I can't help but stare at the car when in my garage or a parking lot.

Thanks to everyone in this forum for your willingness to help and sharing your experiences. It helped me make the right decision on getting this car.

Thank you both for sharing your experiences thus far. It is always nice to read positive reviews on forums to help potential buyers feel confident in their decision to take the plunge.

I'm just at a month as well. But the blizzard here in the People's Republik garaged it for a week. My only issue so far is that the seat heaters don't work.

Looking forward to spring...

Great to hear! A lot of people complain about the 770 stereo but since I listen to a lot of EDM music i.e.. bass-heavy electronic music, it does a great job at being obnoxiously fun to listen to. Though it may be time to have the plastic tightened up around the subwoofers soon lol

since my driving playlist is mostly metal, I'm not happy with the sound system. with road noise it's even worse. I actually think my accords sound system is better 😊

I know your pain. I used to be in a rock/metal band so when I do occasionally throw on something heavy, it sounds pretty terrible. The Bose system in my Audi is a million times better for that all around clear delivery.

The difference in audio clarity when parked / driving is pretty amazing. News/sports radio doesn't degrade too much though.
