AFAIK, the factory made no manuals after about 1979. The factory made 3.6 litre straight 6 manuals, including the XJSC versions. Any VIN numbers or documentation to throw light on it? Of course it could be a rare conversion (eg a TWR job, or more likely an aftermarket conversion from 3.6 5 speed to V12). What make of gearbox does it have?

You have one already that you're trying to sell? Or you're trying to buy one?

VIN number says Auto gearbox, so it would seem somebody has converted it.
