Default 0W/20 link

I was just about to click purchase on the link you graciously shared, but before I finalized, the oil is 5W/20. Here is the 0W link: https://www.roverparts.com/nxt/?keyw...nder%20Sticker

Doh! Sorry about that, and glad you caught it. I just googled to find the kit, and didn't notice that.

Edit: the spec I have for the V6 says 5W-20, unless operating below -20C (which I don't), in which case, use 0W-20. For the V8, it says 5W-20, unless you can't find it, then use 0W-20. I know that's an older document (I have an older F-type), not sure what the current thinking is.

For DJSs car 5w20 is the right oil. I think the spec changed for years after 2014. The oil filler cap on my car says 5w20 and its a 2014.

My MY18 manual says to use 0w-20 unless unavailable, in which event 5W-20 can be used. All oil to meet relevant Jaguars specs.

5w-20 has a benefit- lower carbon buildup, as its less volatile and less prone to excessive consumption.

There is another massive benefit mate- you dont wait a whole year to find out the electronic oil gauge or your measuring technique was wrong.
Incidentally, the slightest bit of incline throws the sensor off wildly. See pic posted by GGG.
All driveways are designed to have some pitch.
