Fixing the system date / GPS
The GPS in my 2018 F-Type R has been busted for awhile (the car thinks i'm stuck in some place a few hundred miles away and doesn't move).
However, I've recently updated my infotainment (changing CCF and screen from 8" to 10") to be able to do Android Auto / Car Play, and AA doesn't like when my date is stuck at 2014. Unfortunately it looks like I can't change the date manually, and it may be linked to the GPS?
Would anyone happen to know if it is possible to change the date in the infotainment manually? If not, I'm taking a look at how to replace my antenna to fix the GPs issue (and hopefully the date?) There are several antenna available https://parts.jaguarpalmbeach.com/sh...sembly=6471456 - I was wondering how to choose which one to get? Radio/cell/etc all work, just not GPS. Thanks!

If not the GPS module, some have suggested it might be linked to the cell connection, although that seems to be ok (you can see the 4G bars in the upper right)?
GPS is where the time pulls from, your GPS antenna is shared for the NAV and Telematics, different from the GSM/cell antennas in the bumpers. I can help you with some testing steps if needed, but it may be an issue with the TCU. Can you adjust the date through the IC?
I also do have Pathfinder, so if there's a test or way to check through there, I can also try that out.
My preferred method is to pull the antenna wire at the TCU and verify it's a good circuit. Do you have any faults in the TCU? I will find a picture for you to show where to test.

So the best test is to start at the TCU or IMC, although it might be easier to get into the splitter. Kinda depends if your car is a coupe or vert. The splitter sends the same antenna signal to both the TCU and the IMC, because it's used for both. Connector A coming in to the splitter from the antenna would be a good choice. The cables are Coax, so you remove them and gently test from the center pin to the surrounding screen wire, you should get a couple thousand Ohm value through the antenna, it's 10k for the GSMs, not 100% sure on the GPS but should be similar, you are mainly looking for a non-open or shorted. From there you can decided if it's an antenna issue, wiring, splitter, or modules.
I'm not sure what useful info Pathfinder has anymore, we haven't used it in 2 years in the dealerships. If you have your VIN I can look the car up on Topix and see if there's any specific info.

Appreciate all the help
