Default Fog/backup light

On the V8 cars, is the fog-lamp integrated with the back-up light in the valence? There might be multiple answers, so please include year and model for your car.

Yes on my 2015 MY UK-spec V8.
It looks clear from the outside, but it comes on red.

V8 UK MY16

Clear lens with red led for rear fog.
same lens with white led for reverse.

(couldn't easily take photo with reverse lights on - it's an auto. can only engage reverse with engine running, although park brake is on as soon as driver door opened auto transmission automatically reverts to P

If you think that's bad then you wouldn't like the side view.!

It's my daily driver, irrespective of weather conditions, I prefer it to be clean but it can get cleaned then one drive in rain and it needs cleaning again.

Occasionally at weekend I have cleaned on Sat, driven a couple hundred miles then cleaned again the next day.

Don't have time or inclination to do this during work week.

It's the same as the above on my European model MY15 (production year 2014).

I also remember to have read (when I bought the car) that on the R model, these are LEDs.

Thank you all. This confirms the lights I have to buy that will fit the quad exhaust valence I am installing.

The Owner's Manual says that the V6 has a replaceable bulb, while the V8s use an LED. But you knew that already.

The rear fog and reversing lamps on the V6 are the only ones that Jag consider to be user-serviceable.

As I am swapping out valances, I just wanted to make certain the functionality of the properly fitting lights would remain the same. Now I need to hope that the plugs are identical.

BTW, opening the plug on the backside of the V6S fog/reverse light assembly reveals nothing more than the backside of a circuit board (both lights are LEDs). Fairly certain there's nothing to do here but replace the whole assembly if it's burnt out.
