Default Found a Dangling wire under rear of car ?

Whilst crawling under my car to look for exhaust leak I noticed a disconnected wire dangling. It’s begind the rear wheel arch I noticed a cable hanging down.

I have the active exhaust but as I cannot find this the pump that’s supposed to be in this location at the so I’m guessing it’s had the modification to link it to the engine and it’s been removed and the wire is a left over ? Anyone able to confirm? V6 MY16.

sorry the pics at a little blurred. Photo is looking up behind wheel arch liner

If its a two wire connector it might be for the brake pad wear sensor.

As best I can tell from the wiring diagrams, it may have been a 4 wire connector that went to the vacuum pump that was removed. I think the 2-wire connector to the solenoid should still be in use, as the solenoid should still be needed.

Kdes,
Please create a signature block with your year and model. That way we can narrow it down. Also given the closeup, hard to figure out it's relative position. What exact portion of the underside are we looking at.
