Default FRAUD....?

Almost 3 months ago I visited eBay UK, a seller name "cashondasaleuk" with 190 positive feedback. The seller was offering an used Gyrodyne wheels and I wish to buy the wheels and request delivery to Taiwan. He told me for International shipping, he did not want the transaction to go through eBay, because of extra charges from eBay and also tax....etc. Well, I thought this seller has all the positive feedback so I trusted him. And he asked me to send the money BP:1,100 to his bank account and he will send the wheels to me door to door. So till now, I have received nothing and several times I contacted him through WhatsApp, he told me he will help me out but nothing has been done actually. Therefore guys, any suggestion and advise for me please, I just don't know what else I can do ?

Did he provide you with a tracking number? Sadly, this might be one of those "learning experienses". Sometimes trying to save a few bucks will cost us even more. Good luck. 😔

You have no recourse thru Ebay unfortunately but you can still report the seller to Ebay as a warning to others.

How did you pay for the wheels? Any recourse thru that payment method?

Does not matter how many positive reports an Ebay seller has that is no gaurantee as to their honesty.

Ebay does warn you against doing what you did for a good reason.

I asked for the vessel name, invoice and B/L, he did not provide me any.

He provided me with his bank account No. and asked me to send the payment directly. No recourse.

Go to the above Ebay page and report the seller.

As you have his bank details, set up a direct debit on his account for a large monthly amount to a charity of your choice, at least someone will benefit.

More fraud is not a good solution to fraud.

If you want to try again I have a set of almost new 2k miles maybe I will sell for 1000 through eBay . I think ebay will facilitate shipping through a regional consolidation shipping point. But no clue what their rates are abroad. I would pay shipping to their consolidation point which for me is Kentucky. If interested pm me

Wishful thinking, but I hope that’s the case.

I contacted the seller asking for arrival date on Jan. 4th. , he told me he checked and telling me the wheel will arrive on dock Feb. 9th.
Until Feb. 27th, nothing arrived. Before that I sent him few messages, but he did not read and made phone calls he did not answer.
He replied me back yesterday after I made report to eBay....! Nothing new or solved from his reply but just saying why am I questioning him ?
I do hope they are really stuck in custom, but.......don't believe so !!
