As long as you're happy with the results, but that's not the correct way to do it if you aren't summing the input channels first. You are layering additional x-overs and slopes on top of what's already there. Ultimately all that matters is you like how it sounds.

This is why a digital preamp like the DED or mObridge is the way. Applying crossovers on top of the Meridian amp's factory set crossovers, time alignment, and gain settings is a time-consuming journey down a frustrated rabbit's hole. Plus you can boost the digital signal up to 10 dB without distortion if you want.

The F-Type is not easy to tune either, even when on a battery maintainer. The head unit shuts down every 5 minutes and sometimes will not come back on for a few minutes. The BMS will do this to save the battery despite having the maintainer connected. Then there's the "battery low please start car" warning that comes on even when your battery is at 100% SOC!

Ran into this last week and it's very frustrating. I was just about to post a thread asking if anyone has figured out a solution to keep the system powered up.

You can tune with the engine running (which I guess would be the most life-like), but I decided to do one speaker at a time then reboot. I worked quickly too.

Wear earplugs because pink noise at tuning level can really damage your hearing.
