People..People....you dont need to remove the front bumper
You can access the rear of the grill if you take the undertray off. Much easier than removing the bumper and worrying about screwing it up, and it is a one man job to put back on, rather than a two person job to put the bumper back on. Send me the badge when you are done. I would love to have it. Thanks

Cherry, are you sure you're talking F-Type and not XF?
Coz I've had the undertray off on my F-Type twice, including the plastic rectangular "box" under the undertray, and no way could I get anywhere near the back of the grill or the S badge, that area is completely blocked off by the "crash bar" that sits behind and runs across the middle of the grill.
Oz...I don;t think the crash bar would be in the way, since it sits below the grill. Once you get the undertray and the "bug catcher" rectagular box out of the way, you should be able to pretty much crawl up into the space behind the grill. There is definitely room to get your arms and a stubby screwdriver in there.

You take that lower plastic undertray off and you have a ton of room in there, and you won't have to worry about realigning the seams and all the other nuances of doing an R&R on the front bumper assy. Its the same on the XF

I want to follow up here since I was looking to replace my horizontal black plastic section right below the Jaguar logo. You absolutely cannot replace this piece with the bumper on as the crash beam and foam blocks access. You can however replace the lower black valence piece quiet easily.
i want to remove the grille r badge, really dislike the colour scheme jag use for these badges
but looks like the badge is integrated into the honeycomb design, so even with it removed, you'll still see the outline embossed into the hexagon pattern
I realize that this is an old thread. But I don't care too much for the red and green colors on the round part of the badges either. Looking closely at them, it looks like there is a clear plastic lens over the enameled area. I wonder if you could use something like an Exacto knife tip to carefully remove the clear plastic cover, and then paint the badge with a color similar to the red on the Growler badge ? Maybe a metallic paint from a hobby store, or some automotive touch up paint in those little bottles that are sold at auto parts stores ? Shouldn't be too difficult to find a color that looks good. I would thin it with lacquer thinner first and use a good quality artists brush. If the clear plastic part isn't AFU from removing it, some Crazy Glue to stick it back in place.
Just a random thought and a lot easier than tearing apart the body work to get at the back of the badge.
