Heated cupholder?

Heated cupholder?
Bear with me on this. I have my F wrapped in a car pocket under a carport, but clearly outside storage. The sun, at this time, never directly shines on the car, it's behind a row of arborvitae. I have 2 remote thermo/hygro sensors set up. One is in the bag, under the car. The other is in the cupholder, the windows are closed. When I bought the second sensor, I placed them side by side to check the accuracy (?). The cupholder sensor consistently displays a higher interior temperature, despite the time of day. The pictures were taken days apart and time of day varied. And yes, I do have a job, I work 6 days a week and am heading out now, to work! I just get up early..

Perhaps I am missing something here?
Only 1 of your 3 photos shows a higher temp inside (interior) than the outside (in bag).
IMO, you are simply looking at a time delay in the 2 thermometers equiibrating after daytime sun or night cold.
The temperature in the centre of the car is slower to equilibrate with the cover in place, no matter which direction the outside temperature is moving.

The interior (cup holder) is well insualated from any exterior surface.
The cupholder is plastic set into even more (insulating ) plastic inside a no-windchill, insulated car..
Given enough time the inside (cupholder) and outside ( under cover) will equilibrate.
And on a sunny day, the reverse will happen if you keep the cover in place in direct sun, though I would expect the car to gain heat faster than it loses heat in that center console.
FYI, if you do indeed have a mouse be very careful. I nearly lost a previous Jeep when a mouse nest built on the engine block caught fire.
Likewise, if you really do have a (non oem) heated cupholder that stays heated, you will likely have either a future flat battery, a car fire, or both!!

Perhaps a 'ventilated' product like a Car Cocoon is what you need?
https://carcoonamerica.com/
There are other brands.
Some of my friends use them. Not me...
PS: Dr Colorchip BUILDS UP paint in the chipped areas, rather than wearing the surrounding paint down.

Just came back from a ride. When I lifted my wife's giant Yeti, the bottom felt warm. I grabbed a laser thermo, and I was right!. The surrounding plastic was 5 degrees cooler. The cupholder was where I had placed a remote temp/humidity sensor when the car was wrapped for the winter. I'm guessing there's limited insulation on the tunnel at that point. Just sayin,,,
