Default Just waiting on my Vap Tvs2300

Just waiting on my velocity ap tvs2300 supercharger and tensioner
already have the vap upper and lower pulley
i am not an expert but I think cooling is the key to this upgrade as Vap stipulate Water meth injection
I already have my snow performance water meth with controller to have start and finish point for the injectors
Vap uses 2 in the pre throttle body
i was already running 2 in my charger lid but Stuart advised a specific flow rate so have added 2 in the pre throttle body area
plus i am already running a stage 2 fi interchiller that has me running only a couple of degrees above ambient even when flooring it
Waiting on a fuelling module and electronic brake booster to finish the install

@Gasman2 Very impressive. You have achieved max methanol cooling. I wonder how your intake valves look with that additional "cleaning." The VAP methanol kit just has the 2 pre-throttle inputs, correct? I am awaiting mine plus the newly offered carbon fiber intake kit.

How much junk are you collecting in your catch can?

Hi yes the vap uses 2 injectors pre throttle body
i had already installed water meth before their kit came out and had put 2 in my charger lid
after talking to Stuart I decided to add 2 more
my iat and mat temps were already low as in barely above ambient and that was without water meth turned on
tbh I doubt there is another f type with temps as low as mine
as I said I have the stage 2 fi interchiller so could get lower still
i don’t run a chargecooler any more as it would heat up my water

That’s ice on my reservoir for my supercharger coolers and I run a cwa400 pump to push it round via braided lines
i moved the lines out from the front of the engine to the front of the car

@Gasman2 I am in learning mode and request your opinion (plus anyone else reading):

For daily driving (not track) with frequent spirited revs past 5K while shifting in very hot ambient summer temps, what would be the best system to install? Would meth alone be sufficient or FI interchiller? Or both? Is meth being injected during regular highway and in town driving or just during high boost?

Water meth is a very good tool for control of intake temp and a bit of octane boost
the fi interchiller is a revelation it keeps my intake and manifold temps hovering within a couple of degrees of ambient and that’s without the water meth running
water meth is fairly straightforward to install and control
the set point
The fi interchiller isn’t a straight fit but I can talk you through the necessary steps
i went for the stage 2 kit so can have cabin and chargecooler or just chargecooler
in terms of which is better I can’t say as both will do the job just in different ways so I did both lol

OMG this things intake is like the Mersey tunnel
the potential of this blower is shattering and imho at some point a built short block with pistons/rods/crank will be a must do
VAP have tested this blower for the last 12 months and I suspect had to dial down the boost
imo as a novice I would suspect engine internal would need doing as this mother can shift a ton of air
Just waiting on the Vap intake and fuel module and vacumm pump before fitting this all

@Gasman2 Thanks for the tips. Congrats on your new SC - you should start a new thread about it as you are a TVS2300 pioneer!
