F-Type ( X152 ) 2014 - Onwards

How much do you think dealers will discount the 2017 F-Types?

Stumbled across a couple of NOS. 2016's for reference...both reduced to ~$72K from ~$95K.

Not exactly "new" as it was taken out of inventory almost 6 months ago. It also does not appear to have the Vision package so no backup camera or blind spot sensors and it doesn't qualify for the low lease money factors.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it should have back-up cameras... correct? I thought it was a Fed mandate starting for all 2017 vehicles.

This is a really good deal if you are a retail buyer (and not a lease consumer). I don't think you can touch an XE with the S package for anything near this price.

I am fairly certain there is no such mandate as many cars still do not have them. I had attempted to buy a one of the highly discounted 2017 F-Type Rs & had come to an agreement on final price, leasing, etc but we then learned that it did not have the "vision" option package so it did not have a backup camera nor the blindside monitors so we had to decline as er being 5'0" tall she would not have been able to have seen behind the car while backing up. Dealer did say that we could simply "add an aftermarket" version but in our opinion it does not make sense to have to hack the screen monitors wires and jury-rig a $112K car?

Visibility is not great in F-type, I think you need both backup camera and blind spot sensors. It wasn't on my must-have list originally, as I always sneered at these aids as unnecessary, but after living with F-type I realize how much easier my life is because they are there...

But I still shoulder-check, to not get used to it being there in case I need to drive a car without one.

No rear view camera or blind spot monitoring on this one so it may be more of a "base" R but it looks like a KILLER deal if you can live without those options.

New Jaguar Specials | Lease or Finance a Jaguar near Newton, MA

I believe the 'R convertible' they are referring to is this car:

New 2017 Jaguar F-TYPE For Sale| Sudbury MA |VIN:SAJWJ6HL1HMK41225 | Near Newton, Waltham & Boston

I looked at this specific car when I started my search, but went coupe eventually

IXK / XKR ( X150 )
That's a good lease cost @ $799.00 / mo + taxes, zero down (for a $113K MSRP car.) Only drawback is 5000 miles per year on 39 mo. lease. But still a very good deal for an "R"!

Of course, when the top comes down, do you REALLY need blind spot monitoring?

I added the data point on 2016 V6S (manual) Coupe pricing in my other thread, but for the sake of this one...just delivered with 305 miles and negotiated at $60K with a ~$92K sticker.

It's not so much the blind side as it is the backup camera. My wife is 5'0" tall so she can't see out the rear without the backup camera so as long as she can put the top down to back out I guess we are good...LOL

I have found a nice R with the vision and wheels I like for $30K off MSRP & it is not a demo so no concern about prior "test Drives". I am just trying to get the financing down. I did get a dealer lease price of $870/month + $3K down which includes taxes, title and such in my state but I believe I can get it under $750/mo & no $'s down before it's all said and done... just not with the dealer's lease money.

Being "politically correct" these days means being a non-smoker and thus not smoking in your car.
