From the beginning I had problems with the satnav/infotainment system of my F-Type MY2019 (bought new in 2018). The screen suddenly goes compeletely black. Most of the times satnav restarts after some minutes, but audio on the USB won't work anymore. If I stop the car, lock it completely, wait a few minutes and restart, the system works again most of the times.
When the car wasn't even 2 months old, I mentioned this to my dealer. The problem couldn't be solved because the problem didn't occur every time, and couldn't be triggered at that time. So I waited some months to see if the problem would solve itself, but no, problems appeared more frequently, so the car went to the dealer where they replaced some module which should solve the problem. For some time I had no more problems, but after a while it started all over again. Yesterday I made 2 trips. In both cases, after some 20 minutes of driving, the screen went completely black. After a while satnav restarted, but not the audio on the USB. Today USB-audio doesn't work at all from the start. The USB's are recognized and apparently can be read (because their names appear on the screen), but the buttons are dimmed, so I can't select any of them. Software is up-to-date, so an update can't be the solution.
Anyone
with a solution?
It probably isnt this, but I had issues with one Jag that were actually related to the song format on USBs. Whatever version of MP3 I had on for a particular song would make it crash.
