I had my growler puddle lights installed for all of a week before my spousal unit noticed them and ridiculed me relentlessly for their absurdity, and I took them off. She’s the only person whose aesthetic opinion has any impact on me. If you pm me with your address I’ll mail them to you.

 

I have them and like them a lot. Got lots of compliments on the lights and personally think they give the car a more "elegant" look.

Good lighting is always a plus... but...the car is already branded in at least 12 places on the exterior alone... I think I would be testing the limits of my tolerance to have to look at two more branded areas... LOL.

 

When I owned this 2014 Shelby GT500 my wife ridiculed me the whole time it lived with us for the number of snakes on it. They were EVERYWHERE!

I will have to get a set of these puddle lights just to get a rise out of her. She loves our R and with it getting dark earlier will think she just never noticed it

 

Our 15 Landrover LR4 has Rover puddle lights as oem. Casts profile of the vehicle shape. JLR doesn't think the puddle lights are absurd.

 

Love them. For $20 best, easiest mod. Glad I don't have to worry about a wife dictating to me what looks good or bad on my car. Interior decorating, sure.

 

Yep, best "bling for your buck" going for the F-Type.
I can't remember SWMBO ever commenting about mine, other than maybe to say they weren't pointing right (the growler was pointing parallel to the door and not parallel to the side of the car when the door was fully open), easy fix just to rotate the lenses a little.
