Default Jaguar Drive w/ British Motor Car June 13

BMC (the local SF Jaguar dealer who gave us those nice gifts for our Spring F-Type Drive) is having a Jaguar Drive June 13. They're working on the details this week but contacted me to see if we were interested. I'll post more details when BMC sends them to me but I imagine it's a drive/meet/lunch. just a heads up in case you guys want to leave June 13 open...

Thanks for the heads-up. I live down in San Jose, but might have that day free for a drive, so please post more info when you have it.

Thanks!

Hmmm...the Santa Cruz British Motorcar Club is having a Run to the Gilroy Gardens on the next day and have invited the JAG club to attend which my wife and I are doing...I believe anyone with a British car is invited:
Check it out here: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...93756505,d.aWw

Let me know more about your deal T...

Lindsay from BMC just emailed me confirming the June 13 date. Tentatively, things will start out with a breakfast at world famous Alice's Restaurant in Woodside around 9:30 AM. Then a nice drive to the coast for a photo/pitstop, then up to Half Moon Bay for final pit stop/photo opp. She's working on a digital invite (I'm guessing somehing like evite or eventbrite). Sounds fun, I should be able to make it, hope to see some old and new faces there as well.

Shift - Do we need to contact Lindsay at BMC to get added to their list, or is this something they'll post somewhere for any Jag owner to see and sign up for?

I bought my F-Type in Sacramento, and live down in San Jose, so I don't have any connection with BMC from a sales or service standpoint, but I would be interested in any Bay Area Jaguar events they put on.

Thanks!

From her email, she's going to send me a link for people to signup/register (probably something like an eventbrite link). I'll keep you guys posted.

T. I'd like to get on this one but have to work that evening and as a performer need my energy. Getting old these days I'd really like it if we could do something in marin/sonoma for once. The past few drives have all been half moon bay. That would be very helpful for me with this date and although that sounds selfish which it very much is there are some incredible photo opportunities up here and tons of restaurants. I guess we may get more tourists up here, not sure. After all it sounds to me like they are using us to market/sell more cars which is fine in turn for goodies, but we (you) should dictate the route. Thoughts?

If I feel ambitious I might just do both events...miss getting to my car on a daily basis because of this pesky remodel...

Below is the invite from BMC/Lindsay. Please directly RSVP to Lindsay at: lluna@bmcd.com. Looks like they're shooting for about 15 cars/30 guests so RSVP early to reserve your spot.

Default June 13th Drive

Hi everyone! Lindsay here from British Motors. Thank you for your interest in our drive on the 13th. I still have 10 spots left. Please email me at lluna@bmcd.com to reserve your space. You are welcome to bring a guest too. British Motors will be hosting the breakfast at Alice's Restaurant, and we will have a special gift for you as well.

Looking forward to it!

Bump. If we get enough RSVPs it'll essentially be another Bay Area F-Type drive
Free breakfast at world famous Alice's!
