In all seriousness, short of this car turning in a reliability financial disaster (doubtful), I just don’t ever see me letting it go. In part because I truly believe we are heading into an era of car making that will interest me less and less.

Second owner since 2018 after a Jag manager who put 1250 (count 'em!) miles on it in its first year. Nowhere near bored of it yet!

 

He drives it like an old lady going to and from church.




















If the old lady was Sabine Schmidt and church was located inside the Caracciola Karussell.

 

I'm not up there with the longest ownership, but with 10 years ownership this month I have had mine twice as long as any other car I've had (previous record holder was my 08 XF), and 4 times as long as most cars I've had.
