thankyou all for the input.
now im in love with the coupe too, and i think thats what im going to look for.
awd is my preference as i live on the east coast and deal with snow 1/4 of the year, but im not looking for the 5.0...v6 is fine for me, but id still look at an f type R
i like the black or the blue with the black interior. heated seats here are good too!.
$35k is about my max so if you see any around......

If you'll be happy with a V6, don't test drive a V8!

new question.
found a cpo from a jaguar dealer but had an accident involving rear passenger side.
f type s awd 25000 miles for $46k
does the cpo mean im good to go or should i still run away?

so now im up to the $50k range.... black coupe awd.
does anyone have any input on how they handle the snow?... my x type awd is fantastic with snow tires

Test drive the bejesus out of the car. Get it for a day or a weekend. Your normal set of assumptions don't apply to the F especially as to the equipment level and the tech level. A lot of the items to look for have been mentioned in the other posts. It is what it is. It is not going to adapt to you. The opportunities to retro fit things are few and far between. The reason they depreciate so quickly and have such low sales numbers is that they have a very particular appeal that does not work for everyone.
