You could put ‘Sh’ instead of ‘J’, see if anyone notices.

I have removed multiple sticky substances from under badging, etc. The easier to use is Mineral Spirits, which I buy here in the US at a hardware store. Another US product that does a great job is called
Goo Gone Goo Gone
. Neither will damage the paint and will effortlessly remove the sticky mess.

I've heard that WD40 is good for sticky mess removal (no smutty comments, please!).

I will do a test patch with WD40 and white spirit. My car has a very unusual paint job, I don’t need a bill for that too! The other option mentioned above isn’t readily available outside the US.
