Low front splitter....
Hi All!
I love the F-Type and have been lurking on this forum for years. I am getting near the point where I can actually get a lightly used one to replace my 15 year old Saab. As this will be such a big deal for me, I am planning to get Paint Protective Film and Ceramic Coating on it first thing and am budgeting for it.
With all that said, I currently rent a house that has a long, steep gravel driveway that gets rather lumpy between gradings. Since the housing market has gone nuts, I am likely going to have to stay at this house for at least 1.5-2 years and I am concerned that the front splitter will take abuse. Does anyone have any information on what it costs to replace that if it were to get damaged?
This forum has a lot of knowledgeable people and always seems to be super helpful and I am glad to have a reason to finally pipe up here and say hello regardless.
Thank you for your thoughts!

When we bought our F, all three pieces cost less than $100 USD total from the dealer.
Good Luck!
There are also several different scrape protection systems on the market. My Alfa 4C has Sliplo:

There is also Scrape Amour which is more expensive, but has more complete coverage. They don't seem to have Jaguar listed, but you can always contact them:

You got a smoking deal on em cause those are usually ~$150/ea
First: we purchased ours 3 years ago. Nowadays they probably claim to have computer chips in them...
Second: pays to shop at the online dealers. If you can't be bothered, ASK at you local dealer's parts counter to see if they will give you a 'club discount'...

We also have a relatively steep driveway.
Grounding out on entry would have been a deal breaker for me.
We were actually permitted to test drive a used F-Type to check it out.
My wife watched from low down as I very gently drove the car up the incline.
No problem.
The 4 inch ground clearance (20 inch wheels) is actually better than you expect.
The key is to take the slopes slowly until confident theree is not problem.
We even did a 2,250 mile road trip recently around the Canadian Maritimes encountering some rough and under repair roads, and 2 ferries - no problem.
