If you want something that looks like an E-Type, buy an E-Type!

Front looks hideous in my option, the front looks like a Tesla S only the Tesla has a small grill, they done the same with the Xk, changing the front end and rear lights on the later models , just another sales ploy. Prefer the look of my car now , the front end has the jag look.

^^ Powerhouse - so correct. Sorry the beauty of the F-type is gone, gone, gone. But All Good Things must come to an end. There are plenty of mint used ones out there thankfully for anyone that wants a nice looking car.

Performance won't save it because the C8 Vette performance versions in 2020-21 will make the SVR seem ............. SLOW.

Yes, though I'm not buying into that discussion again (first page of the thread). Also notice the reflector/indicator strip on the wheel arch? I think there is a Japanese quasi sports car with that but I cant remember what it is.

Based on the first pics (V8) and the video (I4), it looks like they are abandoning the bumper on all models.

Yeah in the first video from which the pics came from, the 4 potter didnt have the bumper, the coupe 8 didnt, but the 'vert 8 did. I prefer it without the bumper though once you stick a rego plate on it, it is much ado about nothing, I would rather devote my OCD to something else. In Queensland we can have only a rear if that is how it comes from the manufacturer, but if there is provision to put it on the front we have to do that as well.

Maybe we should wait for photos of the finished car.

Ageed. The 2014-15 MY is still the best looking F-Type IMO. It takes a very effective design studio to take a beautiful masterpiece of modern times and make it below average in one revision. Pointless change for change sake ruins another classic.

IMO the original design was perfect and there was no reason to change a single thing. it's slowly morphing into a mish-mash of other designs. meh.

Amen. Going back to 2014 would make it perfect.

Unless you own a coupe. (But I get, and agree, with your point.)
