Well this morning on the way Supercar Saturday I got a check engine light and a P0430 code, its the Cats, I'm Aware, well Drove the car to the show, stayed for a couple hours, I cleared the code, and on the way back I got in it a little and the car sounded HORRIBLE, like a 4 cyl F-Type, not even like just a horrible deep farty sound, And just a lot more engine noise, Couldn't here the pops nearly as much, Very similar to last time, but even worse sounding, no Check engine light back yet, but car feels slower as well, not Happy

 

You should ask a forum moderator to combine this thread with your "First Check Engine light" thread. This sounds like a continuation of that same issue.

Sounds like the cat came apart, covered under emmissions fed warranty 8/80

 

Hi, Did not mean to offend 4cyl F-types, thats actually a better sounding 4cyl, but like a honda rice can exhaust equipped 4cyl.
