The sills since 2016 have been body colored. How did you get black?

bill0754 appears to have discovered a few things.

Or he's a Troll worthy of respect.

But, I'm going with Jaguar CRC being unable to do the job that customers expect of them.

Of course, they may be doing the job that their employer expects, but that's a different situation...

The black sills are still available to order (at least in the UK, the US may get slightly different options). I don't think it is part of the black pack - they are shown as standard on the 2017 V8S at least.

Larry, so you have the sports design pack on yours? I can't tell from your profile picture but it looks like you may do which would override the sills to be the wider body coloured ones with the sculpted shape at the rear.

Yes, and they pick up a lot of dirt, more than the rear.

I learned that jaguar customer service is the absolutely the worst in the industry and seems as though they resent you for giving them your business.

I have not had to deal with Jaguar CS, but I was not at all impressed by Porsche. GM and Volvo have treated me well.

For what it is worth, my Marin dealer, coupled with corporate customer service, were absolutely awesome in dealing with my clutch issue, under warranty. They were open-minded, they listened to me, they communicated well between dealer, corporate, and msyelf, they kept me posted for no reason at all, and they followed up really well. They also sent a few fun toys as a "sorry and thank you". That's just my anecdotal experience. I am sure it depends on issue. It might depend on customer... I'm a ridiculously happy and patient person. Just my anecdotal experience and two cents.

+1. Pretty much my experience with the clutch issue here in the Crab State, though it did take them awhile to acknowledge the problem.

- Interior build quality cannot match the German - button and switches wobble, feel hollow, and creaks
- 19+ US MPG without babying it is amazing for the power
- Tires lasting more than 15k miles for the power

After turning off the car pressing the volume button turns the radio on. Even works with the doors locked.

I prefer if the Stop button went to Accessories mode instead and the radio stayed on until you lock the car.

the car has literally (well, maybe a dozen feet) never moved without dynamic mode on. And I live around a lot of inclines that start at 0mph, and lots and LOTS of twisty, winding roads. Yay Marin.

Plus, he likes to sit in his driveway revving it.

I've gotten around 25mpg (reported) over the past few months.

Default Remote control!

The remote app is fantastic! Like a baby monitor for the car

Seriously I did not know about it and now live it. Several cool features like directions to the car (big mall parking lot...). And checking to see lock and alarm status. And the ability to remote start will be a hoot
