Name Something You Discovered About Your F-Type AFTER You Bought it...
This is wild, and I am not sure if it's also like this with a thumb drive, but I've an old ipod attached in my center console for the infotainment on my 2019:
a) you can actually use the slider when an ipod song is playing (or any audio file like audio book / podcast) and drag your finger to move the time forward or back in a song
b) if you turn the volume all the way down, it automatically pauses the song.
I did not think I'd be finding out stuff about this vehicle, 10 years on my 2016 and this 2019!

That it came with a HDMI port and that I could mirror my phone's screen using Google Chromecast while parked. You just need a little hack to link the Chromecast to your phone's data hotspot and voilà!
That’s interesting, and news to me. Where is the HDMI port?
In the transmission tunnel cubby, but is MY-specific so you may, or may not, be lucky.

I know a lot of people get concerned when you do the little hacks. I mentioned I got a seat belt slug for when I had heavy boxes on my seat and people were all worried I wasn't going to wear my seatbelt.
No, I do not want to watch a horror movie at speed. But if I were in a rest stop or in a parking spot waiting for wifey to pick something up, it'd be fun to be able to mirror my screen simply again. I forgot how I did it the first time but it was something with a video on a memory stick, but I'm thinking that might have been my 2016. I didn't test out the CD player enough either. I think it was a DVD player for maps?

Thanks to @Adam Deermann I discovered a way to open the convertible trunk (boot) if your F loses power!

I have a 2020 convertible with 770w Surround upgrade but miss the speed-regulated automatic volume control from my old RX-8. Surprised Jag omitted that capability.
The F-Type 'vert's only automatic audio adjustment is Meridian's bass/treble contour change when the top goes down (when the bass supposedly is lowered, though I can't confirm).
I'm constantly raising and lowering the volume, whether the top's up or down, to compensate for fluctuating road noise.
Another thing I discovered was that I was wrong to have believed what I read (from the UK) about double-locking to put the electrical system to sleep fully. It turns out single-locking does that on US Jags.

I've ripped lots of my CDs in high-res onto a thumb drive to play through my F's USB port but I'd much prefer if Jaguar hadn't cheaped out by omitting standard CD drives. I cannot be alone in still having a sizable disc collection, which I'm now limited to playing at home. I miss the relatively tiny CD player in the dashboard of my old RX-8.
I have a 2017 Premium and it took me about a year to finally see the slot in the console. It's a bit of a pain, because the unit has to be powered while you upload the CD, but if you are not driving, just using the accessories ignition setting, the car will shut itself down after 15 minutes. I managed to get my CDs uploaded via the accessory mode. If you have a long distance to drive, that is optimal. I will try to find the online F Jaguar owners guide, the link I have no longer works. Can also post photo of the CD slot if you would like.
I would guess that later models don’t have the CD player. Mine allows you to rip 10 CDs to the internal “jukebox”. Not all that useful, as I have a USB stick, and my phone, with lots of music.
Doesn't the built-in CD drive ALSO allow you to watch DVDs when parked????
Just the thing to alleviate boredom in case you need to wait for a tow truck.

Sticky Button Reduction on our 2014:
While cleaning the fingerprints off the center multipurpose screen, I found out that using a soft cloth towel and glasses cleaner will reduce the stickiness on the screen surround and buttons..
+++++++++++++
Reminder: DON'T wipe the screen between the tach and speedo! That one is plastic, the P.O. put swirl marks on ours that can be seen when the sun is low in the sky
He must have sneezed.
