Default New Group Buy for Super Performance Brakes 380/376 Rotors.

There has been a fair amount of talk about Wortec Rotors lately and I am in the process of buying a set myself. so I decided to ask about another group buy for the Super Performance Brakes 380/376 Rotors.
I know
watson6505 is trying to put together a group buy for high performance rotors 380/326 but it doesn't seem to be getting a lot of traction. If some of those guys are interested in up grading their brakes to Super Performance Brakes 380/376 Rotors or if your just interested in buying the front rotors only, this group buy can accommodate that.
Below is the email from Anneliese with the break down of the prices: option 1,2 & 3 are the group buy prices; full set, front set only, rear set only. Options 4 & 5 are the full price if we don't get 10 for the group buy. Like she shows at the bottom, we could get 10 or more front rotors but less that 10 rears so we would get the group buy rate for the fronts but full price on the rears. It's those prices plus shipping and US taxes. Shipping to my house in CA came to £210.50 plus US taxes which I don't know, so your mileage may vary depending on where you live.
I am not going to drag this out for ever. If it doesn't happen in a few weeks (Dec 22), that should give enough time for people to decide. I will just purchase my set an be done with it. For those that missed the last group buy and still want Wortec Rotors, now your chance to save a few bucks.
Thanks,
WayneB

Hello Wayne

Thank you for your email, we have come up with a couple of options for you.

To get the best discount with a group buy we would like an order of 10 sets, fronts and rears. however we can offer the following options all based on rotor size 380/376mm:

Option 1) 10 sets of front and rear at £1915 each set

Option 2) 10 sets of fronts at £1060 each set

Option 3) 10 sets of rears at £855 each set

Option 4) 1 set of fronts at £1325.

Option 5) 1 set of rears at £1069.

All of the above are plus delivery and the the US taxes.

For instance, if you have 10 people that are interested but only 5 of that 10 want to buy both the fronts and rears the costs would be:

the 10 wanting fronts only would be charged £1060 plus delivery each

the 5 wanting rears as well would be charged the £1060 above plus the rears at £1069 total £2129 plus delivery each.

A minimum of 5 full payments will need to be made before we start production.

Please let us know how you get on and if you have any interest.

Kind regards

Anneliese

I put an end date of Dec 22. So don't be too quick, I'm not waiting for ever either.
Thanks

I'm sorry. I'm a bit newer and not familiar with these. I saw the pictures from the other post regarding the high performance set, but are there available pictures of these, front and back?

I'd definitely be interested.

Bringing this back up after the Thanksgiving holiday. I was hoping for a better response but I guess last year group buy took care of the need. I was hoping that from all of the positive reports from last years group buy would convince those on the fence that the Wortec Rotors are an excellent buy for both looks and performance. There must be quite a few F Types coming due for a brake job? If you're still on the fence, this is an good way to save quite a bit of money.

If it helps create a group buy, I’d be willing to jump in with an order for some front & rear replacement rotor rings.

I’m not really an option #1, but rather an option #0.5. I just want a set of the replacement discs. I don’t need the hub hats.

Those are VS03 wheels made by VS Forged and distributed by PK Design. Built to my exact specs for width and offsets. They were purchased as a part of a group buy on this forum. Each are 10 lbs lighter than OEM wheels. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...5/#post1974518

Moving this back to the top to see if there is anymore interest? Someone in the UK just ordered a set of rotors that Anneliese will include in our group buy, but I'm not sure if that was Timbo placing his order. This is a pretty good savings on the cost of Wortec rotors, so get yourself a Christmas present. The group buy is over on Dec 22.

Default Option #1

I'm in for Option #1: slotted and drilled, standard round profile.

Say Unhinged, did you have to pay USA taxes?

yes, both federal duties and state taxes. The feds get you up front and the state bills you several months later.

I'm not too familiar with the brakes on these cars. But are the ones being offered here the ones you would want for a track weekend or would I need to go elsewhere for something like that?

Other than CCB's, the Wortecs would be the choice for the track. Far lighter than the competition with superior cooling capacity from the suncuts.

Anneliese,
If/when this group buy pulls together, please have them provide for me the quote for just the discs.

But with only 4 day left to go before closing the group buy and needing 10 people, I don't think this is going to happen, unless we get a sudden rush of people?
