Got a nail in tire and found out my 4S were 71/2 years old. I've checked tread but like a rookie never checked date. They've been like rocks for awhile and sliding! Since I put such small mileage every year I never bothered to put 2 and 2 together. Getting old is not fun. I did research on Tire Rack and decided on Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02. Marginally higher rated than Pilot Sport. Price was about $150 better and got 5% off for using Discount Tire credit card, and 9 months interest free. Also a Continental $110 rebate on 02. So far ride is good ,a little louder, but not Pirelli loud! I think Michelin sidewall is better looking. Handling is very good as is braking. Hard to compare as the Michelin's were shot for awhile. I had Extreme Contact on my '12 Merc SLK55 AMG and liked them.

I have the extreme contact 02s as well and really like them. I noticed the width is a little on the thin side. could probably fit 315s on the rear for my SVR rather than 305s, but I don't think they make that size. otherwise no complaints.

Funny thing happened with my 2019 Alfa Stelvio that I bought out of state in August of 23. I noticed that the tires, although they had good tread depth remaining, appeared to be in the early stages of dry rot. I looked up the DOT information and discovered the tires were produced in 2012. The only thing I could think of to explain such a discrepancy was that it was a lease that was turned in and someone found the cheapest tires they could to put on it.
I bought a 911 once that was 17 years old and the PPI noted that the front tires were original. Fortunately, the seller agreed to replace the tires, along with belts, hoses, wipers, etc - basically anything rubber. It was a really smooth transaction. The guy was in real estate and expected to get a punch list.

I noticed the same, and according to Tire Rack specs, the tread width is indeed slightly narrower than on PS4S (10.7" vs 11.2" for 305/30R20). Continental does offer them in 315/35R20, but unfortunately no 315/30R20 at the moment. Otherwise, I've quite enjoyed mine too, and looks like we even have the same wheels!
II was very happy with the Brdigestone Potenzas. The only reason I did not get another set is a picked up four nails in one tire and the Bridgestones were on back order, so I went with Pilot Sports.
