Default No bumper front grill

I saw this picture on an old post here in the forums (a google image actually led be there).

I think this grill looks awesome without the front bumper divider. Very aggressive looking.

There is a problem with where to place the parking sensors (can't simply disconnect them).

Look up Arden. They have a bunch of mods for the f type. Personally I don't like most of them, but to each his own. They have some crazy 21 inch rims with 30mm spacers and a half in drop too.

Here.... http://www.arden.de/en/parts/jaguar/f-type/

I contacted Arden awhile ago and they said the grille above was just a prototype and that they would not produce it.

You would think someone would make one since there seems to be a lot of interest.

I couldn't possibly take any company seriously that would put a leaper ornament on the hood of an F-Type.

Particularly if they can't actually mount it on the centreline of the car...

Most of us (at least in the US) try not too put it anywhere up front, unless we get too many tickets...

To be fair, I think your wider, shorter plates with simple colors look more acceptable than our narrower, taller plates with lots of color and graphics.

Over here you can order a shorter plate for the front. I have a personalised plate on the front which is roughly the same height as the black bar and the plate inorderedin black background with silver characters. It is very unobtrusive and blends in with the black grille and black bar, and the silver. Characters go with the chrome on the growler badge and the the S badge.

it would be very helpful to me if someone in the UK could determine the Jag part number for the black plate frame and mount that fits the short wide front European/UK
plates (for the F-Type of course).

There are actually three options in the global catalogue.

No bumper front grill-cw12082a.jpg

1. Square T2R1543
2. Rectangular T2R5060
3. China T2R9060

I guess square is the North American one. Rectangular is the Euro one, not sure about China, I guess they have different shaped plates again.

And I'm not sure about the Aussie cars, I know with the Land Rovers there were some special plinths made to fit Australian numberplates, but they made them for the large plate & if you have slimline plates they don't fit properly.

I want one; tell me there is such a thing and it doesn't cost as much as my first home!
