Noticeable ticking noise after some pulls at the Drag Strip, car is approaching 60K. Supercharger or valve related?, what's the most likely culprit?

Having murdered a supercharger belt a few days ago I had been checking out various indicia of a belt going out. One is a ticking noise at idle. My missus had mentioned the noise before I went out and destroyed it.
