Which brand and viscosity grade engine oil do members like to run? How about oil filter? Thank you!

 

There are only about a million threads and posts on this question around here, right across all the threads covering every Jag that ever had the AJ133 or AJ126 engine in it, search is your friend!
Anyway, massive never ending unresolvable debate about the "best" oil brand and viscosity, and the exact same oil filter is used on all models of those two engines, just check out Rock Auto under XF, XJ, XK or F-Type and choose from about two dozen options.

If your car is still under warranty, make sure you use JLR Spec oil.

Just went through this trying to decide to go with an indy shop or the dealer for the first oil change on my CPO '15 340hp Convertible. In the end, I went with the dealer.
