I have a 2014 vert. Not sure what I did, but the 3 map lights no longer turn on when I open the car door. They still turn on when I touch them, though.
The door lights still turn on when the door is opened.
Any ideas?

 

Press and hold the center map light for a few seconds to toggle the door on/off functionality

What is the purpose of the little square light near the map lights that is always one when the headlights are in?

 

Do you mean the roadside service and SOS buttons?

 

No but it is next to the road service button.

 

The 2 little LED's? They seem to aim down at center of HVAC controls. But using hi tech reflection on hand test they don't seem to do much.

 

I don't know anything about this light in particular, but in several cars that I've owned with similar lights, it's really just mood lighting. My SLK and my wife's C63 both have it.
