The mating of the door with the skirt is almost never perfect. I have examined many F-Types and virtually every one had this to some extent or other, and it is more noticeable on white and silver than on other colours. The problem is with the position of the sill, not the door, as you have found. It is the sill that needs adjustment and I think there is a thread on that.

I just searched the forum using "Door, sill, adjustment" as keywords and didn't come up with anything specific to the F, but i'm no expert at the search function. Any suggestions or links would be very appreciated.
The thread is entitled "Removing side skirts"...frankly, it looks like a bear of a job to access fixings for adjustment. It might be easier to adjust expectations!
